To ensure a continuous supply of this vital resource, we have established a thriving Rubber Garden in Agartala, currently valued at an impressive Rs. 45.00 crores. This strategic investment not only secures our supply chain but also underscores our commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing.
Diversification has been a key driver of our success, and we ventured into the construction sector with the establishment of our Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plant in Paradip, Orissa. In the financial year 2011-12, we set up this facility with a robust production capacity of 650 Cu.m./day. Remarkably, within just six months of commercial production, our RMC division has swiftly captured a significant share of the market, even in the face of fierce competition. This achievement reflects our dedication to innovation and our ability to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
With the success of this project, the Company is in the process of setting up another plant at Kujong, Orissa where a large number of projects with investments of thousands of crores of rupees are in the pipeline. As an on-going diversification process, the Company forayed into Hospitality industry by taking over management control of M/s Hotel Nilachal Ashok Puri (Adj. Raj Bhawan, VIP Road, Puri - 752001, Orissa) from Indian Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC). The property is spread over an area of 5.5 acres. The physical possession of the property has not yet been handed over by ITDC and is the process is expected to be completed within next few months.
